He is survived by: his mother Janice Mastropasqua (Barber); his wife Cheryl; his children, Justin Damato (Ashley), Sarah Salwocki (Adam) and Geoffrey Damato; his grandchildren, Arthur Salwocki and Ella Damato; his close friend Joseph Reynolds; his pet Max; his siblings, Terri Bonfiglio, Bethann Wadsworth (Robert), Bonnie Torres (Jose), David Damato and Joseph J. Damato, Jr. (Jennifer); his mother-in-law Pauline Severino; and his siblings-in-law, Armida Crowley, Clelia Severino, Elizabeth Cole (Byron) and Dominick R. Severino, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
