He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Ramsdell and Rosabelle Ramsdell. He is survived by: his wife Jan; his daughters, Dawn Ramsdell and Leslie Ramsdell; his sisters-in-law, Sandy Rubchinuk (Leon) and Jeanne Blais (Donald); his siblings, Nadine Mckie (George) and Kim Ramsdell (Peggy); and also Dale Mottrim. He is also survived by many friends, nieces, and nephews.

Masks and social distancing are required for the attendance at calling hours.

“Today I found out that my father died. I know that I was not in his life all these many years. We did connect a couple of times due to his efforts. After a while life just went on. A couple of years ago I wrote him and expressed that under different circumstances we could have been closer, but living our own separate lives had separated us. He agreed and we corresponded a couple more times., which I am grateful for and that I got to know him a little. I am sad that he is gone.”
