He is survived by: his wife Carol Bense (Wetherbee); his children, Booker Charles Bense (Luisa Giulianetti) of Kensington, CA and Rebecca Susan Bense (Chris Frey) of Bradford, NH; his grandchildren, Siena and Matteo Bense; and his nieces and nephews, Jim, Kenneth Craigue, Carole Keller and Cinthia Clough.
