He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francis H. Kearney and Margaret Mary Kearney (Nee) of Boston, Massachusetts.; his siblings, Francis X. Kearney and Mary E. Kearney; his daughters, Jean M. McGillick and Margaret R. Carlson; his son-in-law Richard Carlson Jr.; his son Robert F. Kearney; and his close friend Mary Werstine. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
