He was predeceased by: his parents, George Desmarais and Isabelle Desmarais (Bernier); and his siblings, Ernie Bernier, Lucien Desmarais, William Miller, Isabelle Boudreau, Phylis Dancause and Helen Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadette Desmarais (Vautour) of Temple; his children, Kelly Crooker (Nathan) of New Ipswich, NH, Danielle Sikkila (Nathan) of New Ipswich, NH and Chad Desmarais (Kate) of Temple, NH.; his grandchildren, Chanel Aho (Abram), Dylan Somero, Mariah Parkkonen (Gordon), Alyson Martyn (David), Hunter Sikkila, Lainey Olson (Caleb), Lauren Kirby (Aidan), Spencer Sikkila (Mackenzie), Brodie Desmarais and Grace Desmarais; his great grandchildren, Mallee, Greyson, Hattie, Reed Aho, Bernadette "Birdie", Jonah Parkkonen, Teddy, Tilly Olson, Nixon, Miller, Lennon Martyn and Kollins Kirby; and his mother-in-law Annie Vautour of Greenville. He is also survived by many brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
