We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2023, at the age of 90, Richard O. Scanlon of Tamworth, New Hampshire, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard O. Scanlon to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra L Scanlon (Mills); his son Jeffrey Bodah; and his siblings, Claire Bird, Frances Powers, Philip Scanlon, Rita Belair and Raymond Scanlon.
He is survived by: his children, Kirk Scanlon (Patty) of Methuen, Miriam Matthews (Charles) of Derry, NH and Richard Scanlon, Jr. (Dina Paris) of Tamworth, NH; and his sisters, Lucille Borque of Haverhill and Kathleen Knightly of Lawrence. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Richard's Memory to New Hampshire Veterans Home, 139 Winter St., Tilton, NH 03276.
