It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecile Bates of Tamworth, New Hampshire, born in West Enfield, Maine, who passed away on August 26, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Arthur Bates. She is survived by: her children, Richard Potter of Holden, ME, Daniel Potter of Penacook, NH, Joseph Bates of Tamworth and N. Susan Henderson of Tamworth; and her brothers, James Plourde of Lincoln, ME, Henry Plourde of Lincoln, ME, Norman Plourde of Georgia, Dennis Plourde and Robert Plourde of Enfield, ME.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 14 great, grandchildren.
