As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Stephen Joseph may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth F. Stepenuck, (Coughlin) and Stephen J. Stepenuck, Sr.; and his sister Frances Stepenuck. He is survived by: his wife Terry of Swanzey; his children, Katie Murphy (Ian) of Windham, NH, Kristine Stepenuck (Christophe Stoelinga) of South Burlington, VT and Scott Stepenuck (Cynthia) of Ballston Spa, NY.; and his sister Joanne Kench (Paul) of Needham, MA. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and several godchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel (44 Maple Ave, Keene, NH 03431). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Bernard's Catholic Church (185 Main St, Keene, NH 03431).
