He was predeceased by: his father James L. Schumann; and his stepdaughter Kristal Sergi. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Lee Schumann (Meyers); his wife Sherry Schumann; his son James L. Schumann III; his stepdaughters, Amy Wright (Glenn) and Katie Washburn (Gabe); his siblings, Elizabeth Silegy (Tod), John Schumann (Laurie) and Joseph Schumann (Tina); and his stepdaughter Sherry. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
