He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Allen and Grace E. Allen (LaBelle); and his former wife Kathryn Allen. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia M. "Cindy" King-Allen (Rothermel); his sons, George A. Gaillardetz (Melissa) of Greenville, SC and Robert "Rob" Allen (Sarah) of Swanzey, NH; his grandchildren, Morgan Allen, Mason Allen, Maya Allen, Katelin Todd, Jordan Edwards and Ethan Johnson; his great grandchildren, Thea Todd and Elsie Edwards; his sisters, Pat Forsythe of Swanzey and Cynthia "Cyn" Allen of Florida; his sisters-in-law, Jane Burroughs of Greenville, SC, Lucy Wood of Greenville, Polly Stromgren of Swanzey and Joy Castine of Hinsdale, NH; his nephew Tom Rothermel (Terra) of Fitzwilliam, NH; his great-niece Meghan Cole (Zack); his pet Missy; and also Hayden Rothermel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
