Paul R. Courant Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul R. Courant of Sunapee, New Hampshire, born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 23, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Reginald and Elizabeth Courant; his sister Dr. Elizabeth (Donald Klemer); his brothers-in-law, Thomas Tunney, Dr. James Hayward and Dr. Walter Powers; and his parents-in-law, Catherine, Eugene Cray, Barbara (Cray), Charles Spallino, Katherine (Cray), Thomas Fitzgerald, Patricia and Paul Cray.
He is survived by: his wife Madeline "Lyn" Cray; his grandchildren, Catherine Courant Taylor (Peter) of Glencoe, IL, Elizabeth Carroll Courant (Edward Doyle) of Newbury, NH, Eben Cray Courant of Newbury, NH and Lyann Courant Collins (Michael) of Irvine, CA; and his sisters, Virginia Hayward (Tunney) and Marie Powers (Courant). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
