He was predeceased by: his parents, John Blackington and Beatrice Blackington (Putnam); and his sister Maydra Sue Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Blackington; his children, Tad Blackington (Wes Plant) of Sunapee and Jill Currier (Brian) of Newport; and his grandchildren, Brian Chrimes and Heather Morrison (Peter).
