He is survived by: his girlfriend Lisa Smith Whitaker; his children, Crystal Ann Kinley and Joseph Allen Whitaker; his siblings, Robert Barry, Danielle Taylor, David Barry, Melissa Barry, Joseph Lewis and Steven Lewis; his grandchildren, Galvin Kinley, Michael Kinley, Brodie Kinley, Elizabeth Barry, Nakayla Barry and Emily Barry; his aunts, Sharen Solorzano, Sandra Anderson and Gloria Coelho; and his uncle Bill Racine.
