He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Rawson (Davey); his grandchildren, Ryan Scamman and Nicole Martin; and his brother Francis Rawson. He is survived by: his parents, Verne E. Rawson Sr. and Florence Rawson (Wentworth); his children, Verne E. Rawson III of Stratham, Stephen D. Rawson of Newfields, Verna J. Ball of Stratham, Rhonda L. Phanthachack of Stratham, Perley D. Rawson of Exeter and JoAnn Martin of Berwick, ME; and his sister Marjorie Rawson. He is also survived by many grandchildren; great grandchildren.
