She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert I. Hopkins and Avis Hopkins (Trask); and her sister Karen Sacherski. She is survived by: her children, Susan Mitchell (Bob) of Salisbury, MA and Darren Fisher (Karen) of Marcy, NY; her siblings, Raymond Hopkins (Susan) of Lynn, MA, Nancy Smith (Hugh) of Alabama, Wayne Hopkins (Sandy) of Lynn, MA, Louanne Fernald (Billy) of Amesbury, MA and Herbert Hopkins Jr. (Ellen) of Yarmouth, ME; and her grandchildren, Sean of Salisbury, MA and Kendall Mitchell of Salisbury, MA. She is also survived by her husband, surviving family members.
She went to work her entire career for Freedom Drug, where she worked as a finance analyst until Parkinson's disease forced early retirement in 2005.
