He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sapienza and Margaret Sapienza (Flaherty); and his granddaughter Jana Tschantre. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sapienza; his children, James Sapienza (Leslie), Jeffrey Sapienza (Bernadette), Brenda Tschantre (Thomas) and Richard Nathanson (Therese); his grandchildren, Lauren, Lindsay, Frank, DJ, Michelle, Jake, Alex and Ian; and his great grandchildren, Hayden and Addie.
