He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hawks and Madeline Hawks (Ehrhart). He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Hawks; his children, Dr. Ralph (Andrea Hawks), Susan Hawks and David Hawks; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Andrew, Ethan and Allyson Hawks; and his siblings, Richard (Kathy Hawks) and Carolee (Jack Hoffman). He is also survived by his loving wife and three children.
