He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hastings and Esther Hastings (Howard); and his grandparents, Henry, Vivian Hastings, Mabel and Leslie Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Hastings; his son Jason Hastings (Kristina Danaher); his granddaughter Chloe Hastings (Lindsay Chase); and his siblings, John (Bev Hastings), Cheryl Hastings, Linda (Clifford Dodson) and Holly (Rick Adler). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sister & brother in laws.
