He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence P. E Carson and Gertrude A. M Carson (Jacobson); his wife Despina Carson; his stepmother Ruth Calef Carson; and his cousin Linnea Zachos.
He is survived by: his sister Sonia E. Smith; his nephews, Scott Smith (Lou) and Mark Smith of Strafford; his great-nephews, Jason Smith and Jared Smith (Frances); his cousin Arvid Sands; and his stepsiblings, Patricia Cope and John Calef.
