She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Young (Shackett) and Roy Young. She is survived by: her husband Philip W. Schlichting of Spofford; her son Peter J. Schlichting of Spofford; her sister Gail Coppola of Keene; and her grandchildren, Ryan Black, Nicole Black, Matthew Black, Courtney Howe, D. J. Howe and Brandon Howe. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
