She was predeceased by: her parents, John Griney and Nelda Griney (Gallegly); her brother John Griney Jr.; and her son Christopher Hamel. She is survived by: her husband Roger J. Hamel of Somersworth; her siblings, Sharon Griney of Somerset, PA and Stephen Griney (Denise) of Gaithersburg, MD; her daughter Stephanie Francoeur (Ryan) of Hampton; and her grandchildren, Cameron and Cooper.
