He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Buckman and Virginia Buckman (Hilton); and his son Richard W. Buckman II. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lee Buckman (Sage) of Somersworth; his son Brian R. Buckman of Somersworth; his grandson Christopher Buckman; and his siblings, Lawrence Buckman (Betty) of Strafford, Edwin Buckman (Bridgett) of Dover and Leora Cerini of Portsmouth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
