He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Smith and Carlene Keene (Dorsey); and his stepfather Norman Keene. He is survived by: his wife Regina Smith (Noonkester); his daughters, Kerri Foss (Tim) of Somersworth, Shawna Caouette (Bert) of Rochester and Leanna Smith of Somersworth; his mother-in-law Betty Noonkester; his siblings, Julie Edwards, Sue Spiller, Mary Maldane and Dan Smith; his grandchildren, Ashley Smith, Katherine Smith (Jonathan Hebert), Jadyn Chaisson, Ryan Caouette, Gabrielle Caouette, Sarah Foss and Andrew Foss; and his great grandchild Shelby Hebert.
During the pandemic he became a Covid screener at Riverside Rest Home.
