He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Nyberg and Susan Nyberg (Knotts); his wife Elaine Nyberg (DeWolfe); his son David M. Nyberg (Dorinda) of Danville, CA; his grandsons, Clinton E. Nyberg (Charlene) of Danville, CA and Darren M. Nyberg (Jessica) of Oakland, CA; his great grandchildren, Alyssa and Brady Nyberg; his sisters, Dorothy Morales (Luis) and Cheryl Angell of Cutler Bay, FL; his former wife Carol A. Nyberg; and his siblings, Mary Jane Nyberg and David J. Nyberg. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
