It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Holmes (Somersworth, New Hampshire), born in Caribou, Maine, who passed away on October 5, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Holmes and Annie Holmes (Searles); his wife Marjorie Holmes (Rossignol); and his daughter Phoebe Stone. He is survived by: his children, Carroll Holmes (Gloria) of South Berwick, ME, William Holmes (Nora) of Nottingham, NH, Shirley Whitney of South Berwick, ME, Brenda Swanson (Robert) of Somersworth, NH and Judy Brom (Randy) of Ft. Atkinson, WI. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
