Ortrud L.E. Chase Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ortrud L. E. Chase of Seabrook, New Hampshire, who passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ortrud may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ortrud touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhard Harmel and Amanda Harmel (Hildebrandt); and her husband Josiah C. Chase. She is survived by: her children, Johann Chase of Seabrook, Heidi Burchard of Koblenz Germany, Inge Chase of Stratham, Olli Penniman of Salisbury, MA and Gerda Chase-Thom of Seabrook. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
