She is survived by: her parents, Joseph Blunda and Hilda May Blunda Gill (Brockelbank); her former husband William R. Descoteaux; her husband George Q. McDowell; her daughter Diane (Andrew O'Neil); her grandson O'Neil; her son William R. Descoteaux, Jr.; her grandchildren, Alexander Descoteaux and Kaylie Descoteaux; her siblings, Mary Jane Blunda and Stephen Blunda; and her stepbrother Douglas Pike. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
