She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Philbrick and Edith A. Philbrick (Towle); her son William J. Smith; and her siblings, Charles W. Philbrick, Stella E. Michaud and Betsy Thyng.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert A. "Andy" Smith Jr. (Rita), Thomas A. Smith, Russell T. Smith and Timothy J. Smith; and her sister Delia Chellis.
