He was predeceased by: his parents, James E Laughy11 and Verona M. Laughy (Jackson); his siblings, Dorothy Tibbetts and Harold Laughy; his son Timothy Laughy; his wife Anita Laughy (Laroche); his siblings, Harry Laughy and Helen Sapp; his daughter Cindy Merchant (Laughy); and his sister Shirley Gignac.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Laughy (Pease); his children, James Laughy (Skip) and Anna Morrison (Laughy); his son-in-law Rickey Merchant; his stepdaughter Marjorie Malfitani; his siblings, Jean Paquette, Eileen Champoux and Alan Laughy; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Auger and Marcelle Abear. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
