He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Robert Bentley and Marion Bentley (Eaton); his siblings, Norman, Michael, Darrel, Wendell Phillip, Paula Leisinger and Gail Lavoie; and his granddaughter Katie Bentley.
He is survived by: his wife Ruthann Bentley (Murrin); his children, John (Cheryl Bentley), Heidi Stetson and Christopher (Alicia Bentley); his granddaughters, Annie Stetson, Molly and Kelly Bentley; and his siblings, Peter Bentley, Mary Everingham and Holly Pickard.
