William P. Rixon Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William P. Rixon of Salem, New Hampshire, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter C. Rixon and Edna L. Rixon (Murphy); his wife Margaret M. Rixon (Coyne); and his brother Walter Rixon. He is survived by: his family William; his children, Marty Rixon (Rachel) of Somerville and Debbie Rixon (Joe Caron) of Salem, NH.; his grandchildren, Kaelyn, Joseph, Riley Caron, Fiona, Maia and Maeve Rixon; and his siblings, Steve Rixon, Jeanie Bradley, Joanne Doyle, John Rixon, Mary Anne Cox and Barbara Joseph. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George L Doherty Funeral Service (855 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02144). A procession will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Raphael Church (512 High St, Medford, MA 02155). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (230 Playstead Rd, Medford, MA 02155).
