He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McCarthy and Catherine Eileen McCarthy (Batts). He is survived by: his wife Patricia McCarthy (Corkery); his children, Sean McCarthy, Patrick McCarthy and Mary Ellen Miceli; his children-in-law, Nicole Shadeed, Michelle McCarthy (Maalouf) and Bryan Miceli; and his grandchildren, Brayden, Declan, Beckett, Jacqueline and Zaya.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sean's name to Lowell Middlesex Academy Charter School in continued support of area youth (67 Middle Street, Lowell; http://www.lmacs.org), where his son serves as Executive Director.
