He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Heinze and Walter Heinze; his former wife Catherine Heinze (Kluk); and his brother Paul Heinze. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Robert D. Heinze of Lawrence, MA, Beverly Heinze-Lacey (James) of Newburyport, MA and Kathryn Riordan (Daniel) of Naples, ME; his sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Rhodes of Salem, NH and Carolyn Perrault (Robert) of Bonita Springs, FL; his grandchildren, Anthony, Andrew, Max, Lee, Corey (Kassandra) and Caitlin; his close friend Eunice Veit; and also, Beatrice Heinze of Beverly, MA and David. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
