We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2025, Rita Gendreau of Salem, New Hampshire passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Gendreau; and her brother William Camire. She is survived by: her children, John Gendreau (Debra) of Atkinson, NH, Karen Tate (Daniel) of Salem, NH, Kevin Gendreau (Donna) of Newburyport, MA, Michelle Whittaker (Darin) of Salem, NH and Steve Gendreau (Erika) of San Rafael, CA; her siblings, Theresa Wilson, Jackie Donahue and Michelle Stott; her grandchildren, Meghan, Andrew, Cristina, Cassandra, Ashley, Shane, Nina, Alec, Tayla, Addison and Simone; and her great grandchild Jack. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home (214 Main St, Salem, NH 03079). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
