He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth E. Smerdon Sr. and Rosemary Frances Therrian; and his siblings, Cynthia A. Clark and David J. Smerdon. He is survived by: his siblings, Kenneth E. Smerdon Jr. (Alethea D. Smerdon) and Sandra J. LaBelle (James LaBelle); his sister-in-law Tanya L. Smerdon; his half-sister Julie A. O'Shaughnessy; and his friend William R. McLennan II (Dianne McLennan).
