He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Deering and Frank Deering; and his sister Joan Deering. He is survived by: his siblings, Paul Deering (Constance) of Merrick, NY and Frances Deering; and his nieces and nephews, Cathaline and Ian Deering.
