She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward McKay and Doris "Dot" McKay (LeBlanc); her husband Douglas S. Piercy; and her brother Edward McKay. She is survived by: her son Douglas R. Piercy (Hisako) of Quincy, MA; her brother Kenneth McKay, Sr. of Lynn; her sister-in-law Laura McKay of Hamden, CT; and her pet Sophie. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to a charity that is closest to your heart.
