It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Gibbs of Salem, New Hampshire, born in Winthrop, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 12, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph D. Gibbs; her parents, Edward Butler and Margaret Butler (Lindsey); and her siblings, Reverend William Butler and Edward Butler.
She is survived by: her sister Linda McGeorge (Butler) of Winthrop, MA.; her children, Helen Ann Gusler (Bruce) of Plaistow, NH, Joseph Gibbs, Jr. (Robyn) of Santa Rosa, CA, William Gibbs (Cynthia) of Salem, NH and John Gibbs (Patricia) of Salem, NH.; her grandchildren, Bruce Gusler, Jr., April Sprague (Gusler), William Gibbs, Jr., Stephanie Hannibal (Gibbs), Aaron Gibbs and Amy Lewis; and her great grandchildren, Mathew, Katie, Mike and Sawyer.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Helen's calling hours on Saturday, February 20, 2021, from 1 to 3 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH, under the NH State guidelines for social distancing and wearing of masks.
Donations in Helen's memory may be made to the American Heart Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.
