He was predeceased by: his siblings, Arthur Chagnon, Doris Dupeé, Raymond Chagnon, Paul Chagnon, Peter Chagnon and Cecile Chagnon.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Chagnon; his daughter Helen Chagnon (Matthew Hammond); his pet Frances; his siblings, Joseph Chagnon (Doreen) and Mary Chagnon; and his sister-in-law Linda Clifton (Chris). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's name may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
