She was predeceased by: her parents, Elva (Barnett) and William Heavey Sr.; her husband Thomas Dick; and her brothers, William Heavey Jr., Kevin Heavey and Donald Heavey.

She is survived by: her siblings, Linda VanBuskirk (John) of Venice, FL and Arnold Heavey (Callie) of Tewksbury, MA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
