He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Tilton (Brown) and Ralph Tilton; his former wife Barbara Tilton (Bernard); and his brother Ralph Tilton. He is survived by: his wife Trudy Smallwood Tilton (McLaughlin); his children, David B. Tilton, Jr. of Londonderry, NH, Jeffrey Tilton of Hampstead, NH, Gregory Tilton of Salem, NH, Nancy Tilton Coco (Fred) of Salem, NH and Bill Smallwood (Marina) of Derry, NH; his brothers, Douglas Tilton of Salem, NH and Clifford Tilton of Salem, NH; and his grandchildren, Kaley, Kyle Tilton, Nicholas, Jeremy, Megan Tilton, Jarrett Coco, Joey and Liam Smallwood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
