He was predeceased by: his father John Downey; and his siblings, Jack Downey, Nora Flagg, Joe Downey, Joan Downey, Robert Downey and Dennis Downey.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Downey (Cappucci); his children, Lisa Rand of Raymond, NH, Michael Downey (Tracy) of Stafford, VA, Derek Downey of Manchester, NH and Lynda Macaluso (Michael) of Sandown, NH; his grandchildren, Brianna, Eric, Elena, Natalie and Lyla; and his sister Mary Downey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
