Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Berton Bernier of Salem, New Hampshire, born in Van Buren, Maine, who passed away at the age of 70, on January 1, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Yvonne Bernier and Odule Bernier; and his siblings, Ruben, Ulyesse and Geraldine.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Bernier; his children, Tammi (Tom Hendrick) and Michael Bernier; his grandchildren, Alex and Addie Hendrick; his siblings, Eldon (Joan), Melvin, Artheline Anderson (Carl) and Bernet (Frank); and his sister-in-law Donna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Goundrey Dewhirst Funeral Home and Cremation Service (42 Main St, Salem, NH 03079).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernie's name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
