It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Begley of Rye, New Hampshire, born in Andover, New Hampshire, who passed away on June 6, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Cookson and Gertrude Cookson; her husband Arthur Begley; and her brothers, Kenneth and Richard Cookson.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy (Mark Skinner) of Antrim, NH, Steven (Sylvia) of Epsom, NH, Cheryl (Scott Farr) of Rye, NH and Alan (Kolleen) of Cullowhee, NC; her grandchildren, Mark Jr., Matthew, Steve Jr., Melinda, Joey, Kendra Sydney and Cody; and her siblings, Jerome, Norman of Francis, JR, Paul Cookson and Joyce Assetta (Cookson). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
Mary Lou requested that in lieu of flowers, you would consider donating to Operation Smile a global medical nonprofit that provides free surgeries for children around the world born with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities.
