With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George E. Cartier of Rye, New Hampshire, born in Chicopee, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact George had on those he encountered along his journey. Though George may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orphir Cartier and Ida Cartier; and his siblings, Pauline Devolder, Carmen Ohrt, Sr., Margaret Mary Cartier (Therese), Jacques and Marcel.
He is survived by: his sisters, Violet Sweeney of Holyoke and Claire Daigneault of Louisiana; his wife Janet Page; and also Mark Cartier (Nancy) of Maine. He is also survived by married in 1958, and their four children, 12 grandchildren.
