With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty H. Merrill of Rye, New Hampshire, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 9, 2021 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty H. Merrill to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Furneaux and Florence Furneaux (Wood); her husband Russell Merrill; and her siblings, Shirley Begg, Barbara Bonefant and Allan Furneaux.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Wooles (Elaine) of Hampton Falls, Mark Wooles (Karen) of Hampton Falls, Jeffrey Merrill of Whitefish, MT and Gayle Perkins (Curt Varney) of Wilton; her sister-in-law Marie Furneaux of North Andover, MA; and her grandchildren, Lisa Perkins, Erin Chaput, Jason Wooles and Tyler Wooles.
In lieu of flowers she desires donations be made to the Hampton Falls Free Library, 7 Drinkwater Road, Hampton Falls, NH 03844 or the Hampton Falls Fire Department, 3 Drinkwater Road, Hampton Falls, NH 03844.
