It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Martin Whitney (Rumney, New Hampshire), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Abraham Plotnick and June Plotnick; and his friends, Woody and Jill. He was also cherished by his sister, brother-in law, two children, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the World Wildlife Fund in memory of Alan Whitney.
