He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert E. Meader and Florence G. Meader (Scruton); his wife Lois Makechnie Meader; his son Stephen P. Meader; and his siblings, Leon Meader, Edith Kelley, Alice Moquin and Leola Gray.
He is survived by: his children, Alan D. Meader (Monica) of Conifer, CO, Glen J. Meader (Jennifer) of Littleton, CO, Elaine M. Hebert (Philip) of Keene, NH, Karen E. Meader (Douglas Andrus) of Gilmanton, NH and Jocelyn L. Poire (Edward Hawkins) of Belmont, NH.; and his grandchildren, Arthur Smith Jr., Nathan, Alex, Elijah Meader, Jacqueline, Jonathon Meader, Michael Poire, Kari Nguyen, Lacey Liebert, Amy Duguay and Kyle Hebert. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
