He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie Byron; his siblings, Anne Marie Nyberg (Gary), Nancy Smith (Larry), Dan George (Laurel) and Steve George; his stepchildren, Bonnie "Boonita" Dextraze, Kimberly Burns, Timothy Staples (Emily) and Brian Staples (Kristina); and his grandchildren, Dustin Dextraze Jr., Devin Dextraze, Dyllin Dextraze, Brian Staples Jr., Benjamin Staples, Aiden Staples and Reiley Staples.
