With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merritt Weeks of Rochester, New Hampshire, born in Belmont, New Hampshire, who passed away on November 10, 2021 at the age of 98. He was predeceased by: his children, Michael Weeks and Kathleen Ross; and his brothers, Richard and Quinten. He is survived by: his friend Elaine Herries; his wife Elaine; his son James Weeks (Ginny); his granddaughter Jennifer Weeks; his daughter-in-law Leslie Weeks; his sister Marilyn; his stepchildren, Tom Hanson (Paula), Judith Chipman, Daniel Hanson (Ofelia) and Susan Richardson (Randy); and his stepgrandchildren, Brian Hanson, Shelby Purlinsky, Ashley Turner, Elaina Hanson, Kyle Richardson and Annie Walters. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with many dear friends.
